A warm welcome to all San Francisco SOTA alumni and their families!

Consider this new website an ideal way to stay in touch with other alumni, and also a way for you to find out what current students are doing, what's happening at the school (will SOTA ever move downtown?), how you might contribute back to your alma mater, and info on alumni reunions. A monetary donation is always appreciated, but there are other possibilities. Recently, Sherri Young (Theatre, 1985) came back to the school to direct the Lorraine Hansberry play A Raisin in the Sun. She is the founder and Director of the African American Shakespeare Company in San Francisco.

We're really interested in hearing what you're doing and how the arts have played a role in your life, whether you've continued in your arts career or have gone on to do something completely different, but no less satisfying. SOTA is a special community and we hope to hear from a lot of you! Please update your contact information, if you'd like to receive an email alumni newsletter, notice of reunions, or special events, or just news about the school.

If you're interested in helping out in some capacity please contact former Principal Joe Rosenblatt.  Thanks to Sary Meas (Visual, 1999), who is organizing the ten year reunion for that class this coming May 23rd.  More on that event soon!

Many thanks to former Alumni officers Ron McCan (Theatre Tech/1995) and Erin Malcolm (Orchestra/1993), who organized reunions a few years ago.
